Almost everywhere we go, we see used cigarette boxes littered in the streets, thrown in garbage cans, or just left in our pockets. We may commonly see them as no more than a trash, but not for Leo Fitzmaurice. As he collected more than 800 of these different cigarette boxes around the world, he has creatively recycled them into cool-looking miniature soccer shirts.
Leo Fitzmaurice is a UK-based artist who has resourcefully created a series of artworks that is composed of used cigarette boxes turned into beautiful soccer jerseys.
