  1. Excellent article Kareen. I have recently opened an account on freelancer.com and I am having trouble getting jobs. I am finding it very difficult to compete with the prices. It seems that some of the freelancers are working for next to nothing.

I am going to look into having a contract drafted up, and I will try to use some of the other tips you suggest to help make me more professional.

    1. Hi Larry. It is really important to have a contract drafted first. This can save you from the task of writing one from scratch when you already have a client. At least when you have drafted a contract earlier, all you have to do is change some details of a project. Enjoy freelancing! Thanks for considering our tips for your freelance career. Thanks Larry! 🙂

  2. I agree with point 3. A quality logo really helps establish your brand.
