It has been a common reaction of our society to stare to people, especially women and children, that are bald. Though we don’t intend to, adults and children having cancer may feel self-conscious and shy when they see people staring at them with sympathy and curiosity. With this, a campaign was initiated in Brazil to support children with cancer who are facing problems with the stares they get because of their condition.
Ogilvy Brazil, an advertising agency, has initiated this campaign for the patients of GRAACC, a children’s cancer hospital in Brazil. Their goal is to encourage awareness that children with cancer should be looked at and be treated as a normal child. +1 for the efforts for these beautiful children.
