The tilt shift effect makes a life-sized location or scene looks like a miniature scale model. This kind of effect can be achieved by the use of special tilt-lenses, other shooting techniques or can be done with the help of Photoshop. The miniature-like photographs are taken from a high angle to give an illusion of looking down at a small model.
