Landscape paintings are one of the 19th-century American art movements of Hudson River School which is composed of a group of proficient landscape painters; this involved Albert Bierstadt, Hermann Herzog, Thomas Mora, to name a few. Today, we will see their peaceful paintings impressively mashed-up with Kaijus – a Japanese word that means “strange beast.”
Oliver Wetter is a Germany-based artist who has created a series called The Ancient Kaiju Project. In the series, he inserts some of the known ‘Kaiju’ such as Godzilla, monsters from Pacific Rim, and more. Scroll down and check out his cool works. Come, take a peek, and enjoy!
