Now we’ve all heard of drawings formed by putting together stones, glasses, papers, etc. But today is going to be a bit different as the illustrations you’re going to see below are formed by drawings as well. Small and numerous doodle drawings created and put together to create a bigger picture.
Sagaki Keita is a Japanese artist who has created these amazing drawings. Keita relates his works to the concept of “whole and part” wherein all things are composed of a whole and part. For example, A human is a “whole”, composed of trillions of cells but is also a “part”, as a person is part of a bigger organization like a family, a community, etc. With his drawings, you can observe that his small drawings creates a bigger image when combined together. Scroll down and observe these cool artworks. Come, take a peek, and enjoy!

Keita’s concept of whole and part is an interesting concept as it suggests a borderless connection. It advocates that we are both a whole in ourselves and at the same time a part of something bigger, like our world. Going further, our world is a “whole” in its own as well, but it is also a “part” of something bigger like our universe. And it goes on and on, boundless, just like our imagination, where it knows no limits.
