  1. Well this is a waste of space, you should at least mention Sony’s SLT range. I feel like I have wasted the minute it took to read over this incompetent list. Grow up and write a useful article next time.

  5. Just bought Sony Alpha A290 last week, its a friendly cam easy to use and have a great high quality photo result.. 😛

  6. I purchased the Nikon 3100 a couple of months ago. It was around $650 with the lens and the photos have been terrific. Great color saturation and very easy to operate. I was a bit concerned about it being too small for my hands but it contours very nicely. Plus it shoots at 14 Megapixels and I believe 1080P video. Very happy with the purchase.

  7. Hi Jamie

  8. I have a Nikon D5000 and I love this camera. Been choosing between Canon 550D and Nikon D5000 and I’m really glad I’ve chosen Nikon. I’m surprised that you didn’t mention Nikon D3100, Nikon D7000 (a really cool one) and Canon 600D, though. These are newer models and even though they cost a bit more, they are definitely worth it.
